  • The Heights Medical Centre is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our warm and welcoming team.
About Us

We're a busy, well-established medical centre with a strong team of GPs, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. Our team is passionate about delivering the highest standard of care, and we pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our patients. With one amazing full-time Receptionist already on board, we're now looking for a second superstar to help support the smooth running of our practice.

Hours
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position (9:00am – 5:00pm).

Please note: hours are non-negotiable.

What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same! Your role will include:

  • Greeting patients and providing a welcoming front-of-house experience
  • Managing phone calls, enquiries, and appointment bookings
  • Processing payments and Medicare billings
  • Keeping reception and waiting areas tidy and professional
  • Faxing, scanning, filing, mailing, and general admin support
  • Ordering supplies and keeping the practice running smoothly
  • Handling day-to-day banking and reconciling records
  • Protecting confidentiality and following policies & procedures

What We're Looking For
Our ideal Receptionist will be:

  • Friendly & patient-focused – you'll be the first impression for our patients
  • Organised & detail-driven – with great multitasking skills
  • Tech-savvy – confident with computers (Best Practice knowledge a bonus!)
  • A team player – supportive, reliable, and proactive
  • Experienced – previous General Practice experience is highly regarded
  • Committed – with full Australian working rights and your own reliable transport
